New! Recovery Project
Helping More People in Hertfordshire to recover
Reach Out Recovery supports people who have been experiencing a crisis with their mental health. We do this by linking them with a local Support Volunteer who can provide practical and emotional support as they recover.
Our aims are:
- To make a positive impact on health and wellbeing
- To increase or improve contact with local community resources and networks
- To reduced loneliness and social isolation
- To reduce readmissions to hospital and reduce repeated contact with GP practices and primary care networks
Our fully trained Support Volunteers are able to support the person they are matched with for 1-2 hours each week for up to 6 months.
If you would like to volunteer with Reach Out Recovery You can do this by contacting our Recovery Support Manager directly on 07867 333785, or by registering your interest on our Google Form:
You’ll be asked to provide the following information so that we can get in touch with you:
- Email address
- Home address
- Phone number
Once you have registered, a member of our team will be in touch with you to arrange to meet you, either in person or via an online platform such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams in order to begin the induction process.
